Aluminum / Chromium / Ductile Iron – A / C / D
La Paz hydraulic submersible slurry pumps are made of the toughest metal to provide you with quality products the perform at the highest level of expectation for pump usage. The small profile and materials we use, make our pumps lightweight, portable, and durable to withstand the shock, vibration, and materials passing through our pumps. Aluminum pumps offer high resistance to corrosion and deterioration, making them ideal for marine, water treatment, desalination, and filtration applications. The La Paz aluminum pumps are designed to handle high capacity flow rates and offering high performance for years of use. The chromium alloys deliver excellent wear resistance in moderate to highly corrosive elements. Ductile iron is a widely accepted material in chemical processes, petrochemical, and petroleum refining fields.
Motors – SM / TM
The La Paz single and twin motor pumps are designed to pump difficult to pump media where other pumps experience mechanical seal failure when pumping abrasive solids. Two efficient hydraulic gear motors are self-lubricated by the hydraulic fluid powering the pump and are engineered to keep contaminants out.
Slurry Gate – SG
The addition of a slurry gate allows the pump to mix solid/liquid mixtures into slurries for easier pumping. With two modes, mix and pump, the La Paz slurry gate function make for easy adjustment for the material being pumped. Use the Mix Mode when there is fluid in the tank and the solids are at the bottom. The recirculation effect puts the solids into suspension, making it easier to pump. Or, use Pump Mode when the slurry is mixed in the tank and ready for pumping.
Twin Agitator – TA
Make sure the material is broken up before entering the pump with the twin agitator models. This feature helps increase the number of solids being fed so you can move more.
Low Level – LL
The low lying intake is ideal for tank clean-out. With the pump intakes suctioning from the bottom, you can move fluid down to less than 1-inch from the bottom of the enclosure to make for the most complete cleaning.
La Paz slurry gate allows switching modes for settled material or mixed slurry pumping.

La Paz 3D-TM-LL Hydraulic Submersible Pumps – 3″ / 550 GPM / 250′ Head
The La Paz 3D-TM-LL tank cleaning pumps are ideal for tanks, barges, and confined entry cleaning. Alone, these pumps move fluid down to less than 1″ in the tank. When this pump is coupled to a vacuum truck, virtually all of the fluid can be removed. The La Paz 3D-TM-LL pump easily handles heavy weight mud and solutions without the clogging that plagues traditional air diaphragm pumps. These pumps can be coupled with a 3D wash-down system to make confined entry cleaning faster and safer.
